The anatomical design supports natural foot mechanics through a spacious toe box that allows proper toe spread and natural movement. Veldtschoen (Dutch for “field shoe”) construction is a durable, water-resistant method where the upper leather is turned outwards and stitched directly to the midsole or welt, rather than tucked under. This outward-facing seam acts as a barrier, preventing water and debris from entering the boot, making it ideal for country footwear.
